Airsword
Non-Contact Separation
Stacked substrates can be reliably separated with the airsword.
Where is the airsword used?
Smooth substrates stacked directly on top of each other tend to stick together. Therefore, when lifting the uppermost component by means of vacuum, unintentional "grabbing" of a substrate stack of several parts can occur.
The airsword ensures, that only one substrate is lifted at a time.
Advantages of the airsword
The continuous fanning of the substrates stabilises the subsequent gripping and transport process.
This leads to:
The continuous fanning of the substrates stabilises the subsequent gripping and transport process.
This leads to:
- A continuous handling process
- An increased throughput
- And a protection of downstream processes from faulty substrate composites.
